Summer tutoring
Who doesn’t love pools, lakes, and beaches during the summertime? This is also a good time to catch-up, maintain or get ahead of reading and math. This is also a good time for those who are entering Kindergartners to feel confident with the letters, sounds, and blends!

My Why.
Growing up I believed that the main reason to go to school, was for recess. I never felt I was good at math and while reading, I would get lost half way through the page. I wish I had been introduced to both the Orton-Gillingham way of learning and to the Montessori method when I was young. Orton-Gillingham empowers dyslexic , ADHD, struggling readers, and seamlessly integrates with Montessori ELA curriculum. Montessori math materials are simple a way for children to put their hands on numbers. This material is designed for struggling students and diverse learners. Being a mom to 4 amazing children, I saw how they all learned differently. From high readers, to one that just always struggled, my children had different ways of learning and Montessori provided a pathway to follow each of their needs. I want all children to be able to learn in the way that “makes sense” to them and for them to feel successful!
